The following was found on the dorsal fin of Nurse Shark in the Brittish Virgin Islands. I would appreciate any help with identification.

It's not sushi if there isn't rice.... 
I think I met Bill once years & years ago and have copies of his worm papers but that's about it. Are you a friend of his?

Yes and No, I've had lunch with him a couple of times to talk about polychaete worms and their roll in a closed marine aquarium system. Very smart guy but I find myself repeatedly asking him to speak in English
He likes his 50 cent words.I prefer my sushi fried.
