I just did the baited shark dive with Stuart Cove's in Nassau, where some nurse, reef and bull sharks came out. Afterwards everyone was encouraged to sift through the sand and look for teeth. I found these two pictured, but they don't have the roots every online picture seems to include. They're about 0.5-1" long. Are they in fact shark teeth, or something else? Thanks in advance for any help.

my guess is no. They look hallow, if so maybe urchin spines?

Shark teeth I've seen are more triangular ...

I'd tell my friends they are from a viper fish :)
