Okay, so I have settled on the E series DSLR and will get the underwater housing, lens, lens port and strobe (or two). I will also be purchasing a case to travel with.

What else is there to get? I realize this sounds like a dumb question, but I am somewhat aware of the need for extras (like bracket). Unfortunately, I don't know if I know about all the accessories needed.

Do I need a spot light for focusing? Is it worth it?

Bracket and strobe arms... advice?

Wet lenses? huh?

Color correction filters. Would I be better taken care of correcting in photoshop?

Am I missing anything? What accessories do you have and how are they working for you?

I am mostly a land-based photographer and ex-photography instructor, who has been playing around with an Olympus Stylus underwater for the last year. I want a better camera to take better photos when I am diving.

Your housing may or may not come with a tray - if not, you will need one. Ultralight is a good choice.

You will need strobe arms and clamps. Once again, ultralight is my suggestion.

A Woody's dioptre is optional. With the dslr, you won't use "wet" lenses.

A good focus light is necessary for lowlight and night diving. I have the FIX brand.

No color correction filters, unless you want to play with them.

Chargers, extra batteries...

Underwater photography is a hole into which we throw money.
