Hi guys.

I'm in Thailand at the moment and due to the proximity considering going to Borneo for some good diving and -maybe- working as a videographer/instructor.
I was wondering if any of you guys have been there lately and could share some information about diving/where to stay/general safety issues/employability

Thanks a lot for you help in advance!

Where are you planning to go in Borneo? It's a big island.

If you look for a job as videographer in Mabul, Kapalai, Sipadan or martaking, look for Treasure Images MR Eric
Good luck... http://www.treasure-images.com/home.cfm

Well, that's exactly the point - I've no idea!
That's what I'd like you guys to tell me: where to go / when to go / where to stay / how much to spend....
If anybody can help it will be fantastic!
Cheers.

Maybe this search would help: http://www.scubaboard.com/search.php?searchid=3428568
Especially the first topic.

I would think a fairly cheap place to live and perhaps work would be Semporna. I haven't been there in years, but I've read that there are more and more hotels offering day diving to sipadan.
