The Sea Shepherd’s @ ODA (So Cal)
Captain Paul Watson and Sea Shepherd crew members Sea Shepherd : Whale Wars : Animal Planet came to So Cal this week for marine wildlife conferences, and some photo ops to help offer support to Kurt Lieber and the crew of the “Clearwater” at Ocean Defenders Alliance.
Captain Paul, Helicopter Pilot Chris Altman, First Mate Peter Hammarstedt, Et Al, offered their time and expertise to help promote the clean~up of our Southern California near shore neighborhoods, habitats, and underwater playgrounds.
SeaShepherd.org folks donated both the R/V’s (Recovery Vessels) that ODA use’s today to help clean up our Slo~Cal waters. These are the kind of folks that many of us admire… It was an awesome afternoon spent with likeminded individuals! VERY Invigorating! (we missed you, Jeff Shaw!) Some of us attend ‘Whale Wars’ parties on Friday nights and this certainly brought it all home
