I am also diving the Hero2 Dive Housing with the LCD screen and I have not had fogging issues. I usually do as above and assemble in ac room and don't use silica pouches. Your camera/ battery might be generating excess heat. My shots are usually 15-45 secs long and I don't leave the power on during the whole dive either.

just hit southern Leyte, Philippines for the first time for the whale sharks. 9 in a couple of hours. water was pretty clear. It's nice that the encounters are with free roaming animals and there is no feeding or scuba allowed.
