Agree the drive from Cabo to La Paz is a good trek and wouldn't (and didn't) do it more than once for the experience - and we were there for 2 weeks.

One interesting side trip we took on our way back from La Paz to Cabo was to stop in Todo Santo and grab a beer at the bar of the Hotel California™.

That was a stop on our tour also. Wasn't to impressed with Hotel California, but really liked the ice cream that came from a small blue building on the street corner. Saw a lot of whales off the coast on the way back to Cabo.

On a side note, but along the same theme of this post, we're planning to make a visit to Winslow, Arizona this fall when we're in Sedona. The Eagles were just here in Indy last night. A buddy of mine went and said Glenn Frey's son sounds just like him.

I used to travel to Arizona on business, and made it up to Winslow a couple times, one of the last vestiges of Route 66.

Enjoy!
