If you are having an offgassing day and want to swim with the BIG FISH, Blue H2o Cozumel starts whale shark tours June 1 to Sept 17. You can also pick you up on the mainland if you are not on Cozumel. This tour leaves from Cozumel daily and you are transported to marina in Cancun. It is an all day excursion. As in past years, Scubaboard Members get a discount, just mention your name when you are responding to your reservation. Blue H2o Cozumel has been whale sharking for 15 years. Book direct here

Any whale sharks in may?
There is usually a few to be found. The problem is not many boats are out in May due to demand so not many eyes on the water to find any. A few years back we went out on opening day because we had a group that wanted to try to find whale sharks. It was day of full moon. We spent probably 2 hrs searching and lucked out with about 15 whale sharks. We were the only boat out there. Its very slow for sharks usually in May unless the tuna arrive early to lay eggs. We start June 1 which is what most others do as well.
