Whale shark in PCB

Well the Whale sharks are still here. The latest on we saw was this afternoon at 2p.m. right off the end of the pier park pier. He (she) was about 25 feet long and just swimming around at leisure. We did not plan to go swimming so had no bathing suit or wet suit, so we just stripped down to our underwear and jumped in. we swam with him for about 20 minutes until the 71 degree water got too us. We did NOT ride him but we occasionally rubbed him he kind of liked it. He was untagged Shark Lady and in very good health.I have more pics and will put them on later. CaptK.

ps ive heard from from a few fisherman that they have seen a few in the area recently with some huge cobia and snapper with them. Kind of odd this latew in the year with water temps so cold. Im not complaining

The shark lady would feel like it was Christmas come early, if you could some how get all those fishermen to report those sightings to Gulf Coast Research Laboratory
