Unfortunately vis was bad today, 3' max and the water temp was 35 degrees F. I was breathing air for a shallow shore dive and I tried heat packets in the gloves and feet. The heat packets worked like a champ. My feet were not cold at all and just the tips of my fingers were cold after 31 minutes. I would definitely recommend the heat packets (samed used for skiing) for cold winter dives.

Beautiful day out there today - sunny skies, 30 degree air temp, and calm seas.

I bagged it. My father fell and broke his collarbone skiing yesterday so we got home too late to organize a dive for today. I did notice when I went to the waterfront for a walk that the vis looked terrible. I wonder why it changed so much?
