Parrothead, you're absolutely right about the velcro and the hyper stretch material. I was told this prior to purchasing my Liquid Fit superstretch suit. I'm just very aware of this fact and so far so very good!!! One thing that I think makes my suit so very flattering is how it's very contoured to fit me in the breast. There are three panels in front. Of course, I really like the colors that I chose. My suit is a black body with teal in the sleeves and chest. The collar, wrist and stripe down the side are a very nice. silverThe hardest part was picking the colors. My best dive buddy got hers about a month ago. She chose emerald green for the body, chest and arms in navy, and collar and side stripe in silver. Now, this one is very lovely.

Don't give up on finding a good fitting suit. The comfort that it brings to your diving is worth every penny you spend.

Good luck to you!!!!

I got that picture from a guy I know who collects vintage scuba picutres. He was over and read this thread the other day. He agrees with you about the easy access illusion thing. You wre right on target! Guys are so visual!

In my earlier days of scuba diving I did wear a few of those suits with Beaver tails and they were easier to get on. At least the jacket. I don't like these new suits very much. My shoulder hurts from reaching around and zipping it up the back. It seems like the new suits are more old fashioned than the old in that regard.
I know this is an older thread and most of you probably already know this but I did find beaver tails. I am still searching for that perfect wetsuit... ok, forget perfect.. I would just go for fits! :)
