You mustn't wear any other color than black because it will make you look fat!
Lord know all the black-suited divers look so trim and sexy in their wetsuits. Esp. Mr. Southern Exposure from the posts above ;-)
Seriously though, a wetsuit that fits well and is quality/condition appropriate to price is nothing but good news. I like the idea of your orange suit & think the "rescue" style sounds perfectly tasteful, even kinda cool. Some wetsuits do have really wild dots etc. that I'd be significantly less thrilled about, but to each his own. A uniquely colored suit is nice in a group of divers because it makes it easy to ID you, nice for your buddy and fun for you & your friends when looking at photos/video. It may also make underwater photos/video more interesting because they have at least 1 diver wearing a color more interesting than black. I very much like red drysuits for exactly this reason.
Reflectors are exceptionally nice for spotting you during a night or any low-light dive. This is exactly why most drysuits feature them and why I even have some glued to the bottoms of my fins. On land the reflectors could concievably be safer for moving around in areas exposed to traffic or gearing up/getting undressed next to your car in darkness or low light.
