I have never really cared what wetsuit I wore before as I had a cheap surfing shorty that I used in warm water. Now I am looking for something for use in cooler water temps (65-80F). So far I like the Mares Trilastic and some of the Pinnacle suits. Any recommendations would be apprecaited.

Crawl 79 Try a ScubaPro 7MM Thermal Tec Steamer great wet suit. I have used it in 48 degree to 80 degree water no problem s at all for me here in the Midwest.

Thanks everyone, fortunately I have some time to make my decision. Unfortunately this is because I will not be on land long enough to try on any of these suits until after Christmas.

I have a 3mm and a 1mm O'Neill and this spring I got a 5mm. Great suit. Very well made and warm. I really like their new "fluid seam weld" feature, new way they're doing the knee pads and the "firewall torso insulation" The suit is very comfortable and once you're in you have good mobility. It's very flexible, which i didn't expect. The only feature I would have liked to see is ankle and wrist zippers to make it a bit easier to get in and out of. I wear a lycra skin under it and with that it goes on and off very easy.
