Wetsuit alterations

I have a 7mil farmer John bottom that was way too long, so I cut it to proper length. Problem that I’m having is it is now way to loose at the ankles to seal in water. I’ve tried adding velcro to help it seal but that isn’t working well. Any other suggestions or places I can send it to get in good working order?

Leave the legs long and fold the bottoms in and then over the boots
