West Oahu with Captain Bruce for the 2nd and 3rd time

Nice crew. Takes off from Waianae Harbor (west o'ahu) which is a good 20-30 minute drive from Aiea, which would make it a good 40-60 minute drive from Waikiki, if there is no traffic.

Last year we went to the Mahi and this time to LC (landing craft) and Airplane. These three sites are the main attraction first tanks dives so I'll probably have to go to a different side of the island next time.

West Oahu divers?

I don't dive out of the west side as much as I used to, so anytime I get out there is a treat.

My favorite dive on the west side is Makaha Caverns. A few months ago I was on the west side and we were supposed to dive the Mahi. I was looking forward to it because it's been a couple years since I last dove it. The water conditions were not cooperative, though - a ripping current pretty much blew you right under the boat as soon as you jumped in.

If you visit in the summer, let us know - we can plan some shore dives up on the North Shore.

This time of year is south and west shores only. I did get a north shore dive in in november but it was a small window of weather. I went with them last week and it was a real good trip and only 15 monutes from home. Light load of people too. 6 instructors,a DM and My GF. Nice relaxed dive where everyone was just having fun!

working the Sony Open this weekend. Have fun getting wet. If it rains, I too will be wet. lol Wildcard- have you found out when or if you are leaving to the desert?

There is a Sea Lancers club dive tomorrow out of Hickam Harbor. Only $5 a dive, but you do need to be a member. www.sealancers.org

Crap! I can't get on base with out my dive buddy. I need to join.
A new possable date is Jan 29th but Im waiting to hear. Also working on job that pays lot more than I was going for to start with. A dual role medic/EOD teaching gig from what I have heard. No rush either way, I just got a big raise here and Kathy is here and I don't get shot at so much here. Im just waiting for teh cards to turn before I bet again.
Lisa, I still need you to show me why my whites burn out? Im sure it's aaq WB issue but I don't know how to deal with it.
