Got a business trip to KL in early Dec. and will have a weekend to kill. Are there any worthwhile dive sites on the Western coast of Peninsula Malaysia near KL (other than Langkawi?)? Would only have Sat and Sun free.

Hi Pakman,
Wrong time of year for diving in Malaysia ! Your are right, apart from Langkawi there is really nowhere worth the trouble of getting out to and you will not be able to get to Sabah or Sarawak. The nearest would be Sembilan and as I said hardly worth the effort. I would suggest you stay back and enjoy KL instead. If you want to see fish, go to the newly opened aquarium at KLCC !!!

Have a good time in KL !!!

thanks tzeyap... guess I'll just bring my golf clubs instead and hang out in KL...
