Hong Kong enjoys a reputation around the world as a commercial and cultural center, and now a group of local entrepreneurs and divers have put it on the map as Scuba Diving International / Technical Diving Internationals latest and most promising new regional office.
Obviously the expansion of our organization into the hugely promising Chinese market is wonderful news, said Brian Carney, president of International Training.
Hong Kong already has a thriving diving community and is a vibrant member of the South Asia diving industry. Carney continued. We feel that our close association with the SDI / TDI Hong Kong team all of whom are accomplished divers and successful business people offers exciting potential for growth; both for SDI / TDI and for our newest regional partner.
The Scuba Diving International, Technical Diving International Hong Kong team includes: Mr. Alex Wong, President; Mr. Alfred Au; Mr. Stephen Wong; Mr. Stephen Au; Mr. Tanny NG; Mr. Mark Houghton and Mr. Andy Li, both members of the Hong Kong training department.
Some members of this excellent group now representing the SDI / TDI organization in Hong Kong are old friends and we are pleased to reinforce those well-established ties. Carney concluded. And many of them are new faces but their enthusiasm at being part of the family of SDI / TDI instructors and instructor-trainers, and the professionalism with which they conduct themselves, bodes very well for a happy business relationship as we work together to meet the challenge of a new and exciting market.
