Ain't that a b*%$#. Wife called. Emergency board meeting, so she'll be working late. And here I am on the wrong side of the valley on a day with heavy heavy traffic. :(

Dude you so could have made it!! We dropped in around 8:30-8:45. What a bummer. We always have next week!!
Highly doubtful that I could have collected everything, loaded up, and made it all the way out to Malibu by the time I found out. I think I posted that at 7:00 or so, having just gotten home from work... it took me an hour, and traffic was worse going the other way. Malibu would have been back to work and then about the same distance farther.

Ah well, there's always next week. How was the dive? Vis better than last time?

Edit: I wonder why SB is an hour off displaying time stamps on my posts? I just posted at 9:28am, local time, and it's showing 8:28.

Oh well, vis was not as good as last time going out but once we hit the reef it started to look pretty good. Scott and Penny saw 2 angel sharks, lucky :censored:. A few bugs and octos(not the free flowing kind), an all around fun dive. We went to The Malibu Inn for the debriefing and one of the greatest 80's ska bands was playing there, The English Beat. It was a good time. Here's a link to next week's dive.

That's because scubaboard has more problems than a therapist. They had some serious hosting problems yesterday.

Yeah, I did the short trip thanks to my temporarily free-flowing octo.

It was nice to breathe on it though, and see that it does, in fact, work
as advertised when it doesn't have a little sand in it.

I'll have to look at the next week's link, should be up in Topanga by then.
