Seems like gulf diving is off limits for the next few months cause the seas are too rough. So I figure it is time to start looking for alternative. Right now my dive buddy will be busy deer hunting the next few months and I don't have a lease this year so I will probably be at the house or hanging around the dive shop. As well as a few ski trips if I can find some people to go.

1. Right now I am planning on getting cert. for Aguarena Springs so that is one option.
2. I was thinking about maybe going to Blue Hole in San Rosa, NM since my mom lives in Lubbock so it can be a dual purpose trip.
3. I have heard about diving/spearing the Jetties in South Padre but I was wanting so hear some some people that have done this dure the winter.
4. Plan to take a DAN 1st Aid and well as O2 course. Hopefully I won't need to use either but I have the training if the time comes.
5. I might even consider making a trip to Northern Florida for some sping dives.

But I was want to hear any other ideas of some nice weekend trips. Or other activities for my winter lack of Rig dives.

I also hear there is a book call "Snorkel and Scuba guide to Texas". I was wondering if anyone know where I might be able to get this book.

Santa Rosa's Blue Hole will be closed Nov 7-19, perhaps longer: that story. Another weekend, maybe I can meet you there...?

I'm diving Twin Lakes Dec 3, maybe 4th, I thin.

Dan,
I might be in for diving that weekend. I am not sure if I am suppose to post this to the whole world. But Dec. 3rd my LDS is going to host "Movie Night" at the shop by showing the first 3 shows of "Sea Hunt".
