Water Temp: 73 Degrees on surface, 68 at depth(Detriot)/65 at surface, 55 at depth(Big Cliff)
Vis: 20(Detriot)/40 feet(Big Cliff)

Water was warm, even with a 3mm suit, a little cold at Big Cliff. We did two shore dives one in Detroit Lake near South shore, and the second below the dam in between the Detroit Dam and Big Cliff Dam. Water was colder at Big Cliff, and got really cold past 20 feet but the Vis was great.

This was my first fresh water dive, and semi cold dive. All my previous dives were in the Caribbean, Mexico, or in Maui. So there was a big difference. All in all I think I will enjoy diving here in the PNW. Anyone else dive Detriot or Big Cliff dam area?

I did my drysuit class up there.... Not the most fun I've had but I did not get to try the drift dive either, which I hear is fun.....
