Any condition updates for Sunday? I see forecast for Southern MA & RI being a bit sketchy especially with South Facing Beachs. Any reports from the North? Looking for a dive on Sunday Morning that won't be more work than it is worth. I don't mind the parking or hike in hassels but once I'm in the water I'm looking for more bathtub than washing machine conditions.

Was on the south shore this morning (though not south facing) at Brant Rock Beach Marshfield and it was a tad swelly there. I was just snorkeling since i have a cold/allergies/something thats been keeping me stuffed up. I was getting tossed a round a bit, but I'd call it "medium" rather than anything super serious (at least in marshfield). The water was nice with surface temps down a little due to the swells bringing the cooler deeper waters in to the beaches. that said; surface temp was likely 61 or so. The visabilty was great however in the rockie areas. forcast for NE wind tomorrow which isn't so good for south shore diving.

Follow Hurley's lead and head up north...

After my charter in RI got cancelled by the sea conditions I fled north with my buddy Matt and did Cathedral Rocks and Folly Cove. First time time since February I dove anything not in RI so it was a nice change off pace.

I also got to put my new drysuit to use in some of that cold water up there. Conditions were great at Cathedral. About 52F at the bottom, relatively calm, and vis about 30ft.

Conditions at Folly were about the same except that the visibility was lower. More like 15 ft. Also the visibility was notably worse below the thermocline than it was above.

I second the Folly Cove report. Nice sunny day, pretty calm seas, pretty decent viz(15' to 20'), dove wet and warm and two torpedos rays on one dive! Nice diving, John H. Thanks and see ya soon.

Thanks All looks like I'll head north and see if I can keep out of Frances' way. Folly good for Lobsta or shall I try Norman's or Niles any suggestions appreciated. Thanks Again.

We'll be doing our usual Sunday morning boat dive in Plymouth tomorrow. Maybe have to get creative if the wind whips things up.
