The best set-up I have seen is one of the old-fashioned portable hood hairdriers... the hose that runs from the heating unit to the inflatable hood is simply tucked into whatever it is needs drying. Temperature is moderate (and adjustable)

But heck - it's just a hair dryer. I doubt that even on high setting that it would be hot enough to melt plastic, considering the danger that could cause to a human scalp???

The trick with the hairdryer to turn it on & off so it doesn't over heat. And honestly, the cheap little folding travel dryers are the way to go. Awesome for drying skates too!

I will not be standing there with a hair dryer turning it on and off. I want something that'll run unattended with no risk. I'm not in a big hurry (trying to dry them for the next dive) as I generally carry spare gloves. Just want it to be less than a week. ;)
