Hello, I just came back from Malibu's beach, and it was crazy there, because the wind gusts are strong( and forecasts says it will stay like that 'till Friday) therefore I will no be in the diving tonight, please you guys be safe if you are still planning to go tonight.

How'd it go? Curious, because on the other side of the hill it was very windy.

I was in Thousand Oaks and seriously considered just driving down to say "Hi" -- then the wife called --- beckoned me homeward... :Kissy:

Rick & I stood out in the wind for about 15 minutes evaluating the surf, entry options, reef viz, etc. Although the waves were only 1-2' and we could have made it out, there was just enough doubt about conditions to convince us it wasn't worth braving it. There are enough beautiful dive days that we figured the wind and cold weren't worth the possible bad viz and potential current issues.... It is hard for me to walk away with a trunk full of gear & two full tanks-- I could hear the lobsters calling me from beneath the churning ocean-- but there's always the next dive! And Sunday's going to be incredible! I just realized I have Monday off, so I'm going to be at Leo all day!...

Thank you. I feel bad that you guys weren't able to dive, but I feel better for not having gone.

Are you sure the lobsters weren't taunting you guys?
