Yeah, with the softer webbing I usually have to check to make sure it is laying right on her and it isn't as easy to get into as mine is. Tobin's @cool_hardware52 webbing is really stiff and that makes it really easy to get in and out of but he only offers black. She would rather have purple and be slightly inconvenienced. I also have to add extra keepers in a few places to keep it from adjusting itself. I'm really trying to get her to give up the purple and I actually have managed to on her steel backplate that we are going to take to cozumel and leave down there. One down and one to go. I don't think the thickness matters. I think it is all in the coating. I found the strapworks polyester strap to be a bit stiffer than the slippery nylon strap that they offer and it will hold up better to the sun.
