I know what you mean....it's like if you were in a real store, they'd be standing in front of you, blocking the doorway so you coudln't get out!

Actually, imagine a store with one of those revolving doors - you can see the outside, but when you get into the door to exit it swings you all the way around back into the store.

That's essentially what those redirect sites do.

Scubaboard uses redirects too - but it has a message informing you that you're about to get redirected (such as after you've replied to a post) then it "hangs out" for a few secnods before initiating the redirect.

If you'd just stay away from "those kinda sites" you wouldn't have that problem...
