My family and are staying at Islander Resort from 26 June through 3 July and have 5 days of diving booked with Key Dives.

What do you locals believe the conditions will be like?

Well from weather report ya need to watch the tropical deression they are forecasting for off the bahamas...

If im not mistaken...


That might generate some swells

try the Florida Sportsman fourms as well they have lots of locals there with up to date on site reports

here's another great source of weather info, especially the tropical stuff.....Jeff Masters has a blog on this site that is very well-informed and usually pretty darn accurate....www.wunderground.com

also, have fun w/ Key Dives...Mike and Marcia run a nice operation!

and don't worry...if you do get blown out, you can always head to Lorelei for cold, frosty, adult beverages or better yet, Papa Joe's if they ever managed to get their liquor license back!
