Also the padi specialty lionfish hunter
Diving there this past July I got mixed messages on the lion fish. I get there is a consensus that they will not be eradicated but (hopefully) controlled. Our DM, Victor Brito, had a little net, caught a couple and handed them over to a Marine Park rep. Another diver going with a different shop told me they were enjoying finding them and then leaving them be. They are beautiful, elusive and a thrill to spot. I know we have to try and eradicate them. Wonder if they are really any good to eat?
