Many manufactures offer suits in a number of sizes that I have never seen locally. For example I see that a manufacture makes M short, M, M tall, ML short, ML, etc., but the local shops sell only M. So do not assume that there is no one out there making your size. You just need to find someone who carries it.
Waterproof makes great suits, amazing many sizes for both men and women, absolutely fabulous wetsuits for really cold water and really, really nice looking. You can also see about getting one ordered if the local shop doesn't normally carry the size you are looking for. The folks at Waterproof are really great about special requests - I had to get them to send me a single neophrene drysuit boot because my daughter's right foot is significantly larger (wider). Even that was no problem.
Their wetsuit gloves & 3-finger mitts for cold water are really nice too. Still use their wetsuit gloves as backup gloves if my dry gloves fail.
