I am on the south coast and the water is 27C / 80F, but it is Caribbean side. On the north, because it's Atlantic, might be a degree or 2 lower. I am not sure if that would be temperature for a dry suit

I'm actually flying in to Punta Cana on the 24th but we head over to Puerto Plata on the 26th and was hoping to get to dive Catalina but I think:
a) you're probably taking Christmas day off (good idea!!!)
b) my family would kill me if I went diving on Christmas
next time.....
We have clients on 24th, but don't dive on 25th you are right
