You'll need a chain saw to access the water

i have a stihl a70:) anyway all my diving experience is in the philippines never dove outside my country. wonder if its worth lagging all my gear or should i stick to business:D

silly, of course you should bring your stuff with!!

The water temps should be in the mid 70's

Middle 70's, sounds like paradise

Are there shark tours? On Maui we're always bumping into them just shore diving even.

yeah i saw several shark tours in google. most of them cage though. i wanted to experience shark feeding like they have in the carribean or florida.

We did the cage thing last year. It is in the cage and they chum the water to make sure you will see lots of sharks. We enjoyed it a lot...but we both should have taken more weights with so we could stay on the bottom of the cage...and should have taken pony bottles with us.
Since this is done up on the North Shore I don't know if you'll have much fun out there in January...pretty rough out there during this time of the year.
