Hey guys. I got bit paranoid today, rough seas hit the dock and before we setup our gear a wave hit and covered the tankvalve. I leaned the tank over and got the water out of the valve but didnt flush it or dry it before connecting my first stage. Do you think there is some water in my first stage now? I use the atomic aquatics M1, i know thats sealed but🤷

I use the atomic aquatics M1, i know thats sealed but
It is the ambient pressure side that is sealed. The tank side is not. If that was an ocean dive, there'll be some salt left over in the reg. I'll leave it to the experts to weigh in on whether to service or not.

If it breathes fine, I'd keep using it.
It happened today, i have 5 more dives this week. IF there is a little saltwater that got in, am i good to use it for the rest of the week and have it serviced when i get home?

Probably. Take some breaths off of it before every dive to be sure. I doubt that you'll have issues.

You got water pre-dive. You dove, no issues. Unless I’m misunderstanding you??

So what’s happened during/after the dive to concern you?

I agree with @inquis , I’d worry about salt water, being sealed makes me lean more to the worrying side — I’ve seen some bad (pictures) of pitting around the piston from cases of water intrusion

If it was fresh water I’d not give it second thought

FWIW when I get salt water into unsealed pistons I just dump the whole reg in fresh water overnight and then blast purge them

Tbh its unclear of and how much water there has been.
Possibly some of the salt(?) Water came through.

By breathing a lot of dry air through it, the moisture will be gone. However there can be residuals especially salt.

If I were to dive in cold water conditions I would get it serviced, telling the service about it. Note I am conservative...

In warm water I would be less worried, if it breathes fine. Have seen too many people tossing the whole regs into the cleaning box, so almost every rental regulator will got some water inside. And there are not many if at all incidents regarding this.
However cleaning water does not have salt (well a bit accumulating from the cleaning). However there will probably also be some incidents like that, this gear is not treated well.

Anyway thats a comment for the remainder of the trip. Afterwards I would get it serviced, so just a bit earlier.
