After my last dive i found water in my BCD. What may be wrong with the gear?
Thanks?

Its normal.

Just turn your BC upside down so that the valve is at the lowest point, then press the oral inflate button on your low pressure inflator, and drain the water out.

If its salt water, maybe add some fresh water by reversing this process, and then drain that out.

Are you referring to water in the bladder of your BCD?

That is normal, just remember to rinse the bladder with fresh water then drain it after you're done.

Perfectly normal. That being said I'll assume you are new to diving. As you gain experience you will vent less frequently and close the valve sooner after the last of the air has escaped. This will result in less water but it's darned had to get to zero if you are actually using the BC.

How you clean your BC is very important, especially after diving in salt water. You can read more here.

Congratulations, it means you are doing something right. You are not over weighted, have emptied all the air out of your BC for the descent. Good for you!
Now just remember to follow the care instructions given.

If air is not coming out of your deflator water is going in. It is normal to have a small amount of water in bc.

I don't know if I'd reassure the diver with that metric of correct weighting. If a diver is over weighted then they will get water in the BC from frequent incremental dumping.

I think it's fine, unless it was completely full or something. If you notice it leaking somewhere, take it in to get looked at or just buy another. You can rinse it out by pressing the deflate button and gently spraying water in the opening. Then slosh it around a bit and empty by pressing the deflate button while holding it upside down.

Huckster,

It's a pity your instructor didn't show you what we are posting here on your OW Course. What I do with students is when they think they have rinsed and cleaned the gear and hung up the BC and now have their Tshirt on, I turn it upside down and press the deflator button so that the water runs down the inflator hose and wets them. Then we talk about the need to get the salt water out after every dive and rinsing the bladder with fresh water.

To be honest, it's a trick an Instructor taught me when I was a Divemaster. (Thanks, Mark, wherever you are).
