I just noticed small water bubbles in my SPG. Since I hadn't noticed them before, I suspect I have a problem. Is replacing my SPG in my near future?

I don't have an answer, but what depths do you dive at, and what was the depth you were at when you noticed the water?

The water you see will not be in the pressurised part, but rather on the gauge face. The water will not stop it working, but it will likely corrode before long. Time for a new one soon.

I had the same problem.. what worried me is that there might be some corrosion on the mechanism next time out, possibly causing the needle to get stuck on the way down...... which would be bad.

Replace it.

I thought that gauges were filled with oil???

Would be more likely air bubbles in the oil I would think... but I really have no idea... I'm just bored at work ;)
