Warm weekend 18-19 APR 09 - who's diving where?

Myself and two buddies are going out to the Northern Channel Islands with the Raptor boat on Saturday. Had I known that the weekend was going to be this warm, I would have gone with the Spectre (to help show support with the latest unfortunate diving mishap) or the Explorer. Or the Great Escape down south.

Sunny days and warm air - it don't get much better than this!!!

Monday and Tuesday April 20th and 21st diving Catalina for the first time. Lookin' forward to it!

my son and i are going to be on the raptor sat the 18th see you on the boat.i sure hope this wind dies down.has anyone heard more about what happend to the guy off the spectre?

Going on the Marissa, Sunday the 19th for 3 tanks at wreck alley.

The Raptor is a small boat and it might be filled by now. It's also a 2-tanks dives day on Saturday too, which is good because I gotta get home, clean my gears, do laundry and hit the hay ready to fly out of town first thing Sunday morning.

Garrett, I'll see you on the Raptor. Won't be able to miss my outfit!!!

The weather was awesome so the Raptor boat took us to the backside of Anacapa. A nice change of dive site

The Raptor boat is very well organized and the crew was professional. The only thing I didn't like is that I gotta use their tanks instead of mine own because they don't have air compressors on board.

Met up with Garrett58 and his handsome young son. Bill, it was a pleasure making your acquaintance and I dig your groovy T-shirt.

Probably not until late May or possibly even June. I'm going on vacation between last week of April and last week of May and I'm gonna do some freshwater diving in New Mexico and Texas; possibly even the Gulf of Mexico if schedule comes out right with the local charters.
