I am from richmond, va im 21....and hoping to get my OW cert in march.

Welcome! You'll likely be doing your OW at Rawlings? If so, it is very beautiful, and you will have a great time. We are looking to do a "meet and greet" in the VA Beach area sometime soon (hopefully next month), so watch here for additional postings. Have a great time diving! Anne
