I really want to know if the Salt Point Dive link is pretty accurate. It says to stay in the protected coves. I would like to know if these coves are still safe to dive even with the forecasted weather. I really want to grab some abs, but am not willing to die for them. Anybody have any thoughts on this weekends diving?

Even if the coves are "protected", the visability will be minimal. There were a few dive clubs planning to dive that area this weekend, and they cancelled the trip.

I can say that the seas were rough today! Went out on Cypress Sea down to Carmel and it was a rough one. Now I see what the buoy is talking about.
