Hi,
New to Scubaboard, please pardon the gaffs. I'm heading for Wakatobe in Sept. and have read a bunch of pro's and cons. What is the skinny? Have done Komodo Dancer a couple of times and the cost factors are about the same. Pelagics are not a big issue but Vis and Bio-Diversity is. Will I be disappointed? Any tips on especially good sites to aim for. Can I get my 50 Dives in on an 11 day trip? Even with a stay over in Denpasaar it seems easier to get to than Kavieng.
I am also considering "Golden Dawn " next year in Eastern Fields. I would appreciate a bit of input.

Thanks

Hi Ike, welcome to SB. Sorry can't help you with your questions on South East Asia.
But if you post here you will get some answers here

So many questions, so little answers...

My only advice: seek and thou shallt find...

BTW, welcome (Scub)aBoard! :happywave

Welcome to the board!
Hey Ike, was I just on the Komodo Dancer with you in March? The black eye has gone away!
I booked a trip to Wakatobe in May of 06. Let me know how your trip goes. Ken assured me that 50 dives in eleven days is easy to do at Wakatobe. Easy and shallow shore diving. I can't wait!

Hi Joe,
Yup, we were together. How's it goin' in TEXAS? Where are my Pix? Where is Teri? Even Marek didn't send me any Pix. I guess I'll just get my own. Did Ono eversend you an e-mail list of our fellow divers? Keep in touch.

Hello Francois!!

So good to hear from you. I hope you and your charming wife are doing well. No.. I didn't get your e-mail but my e-mail address is ikepharm@yahoo.com. If you want, please stay in touch. It was a wonderful trip, with the two of you making it a even more so.
I'm itching to get to Wakatobi in Sept. and PNG ( Golden Dawn to Eastern fields next year ). I thought Onno was going to send the Komodo participats a list of their respective e-mails, but no such luck.

I wish you both well and keep in touch

Ike
