Hello everyone,

I'm fairly new to scuba and got my OW last year. I just bought my gear from the LSD this past weekend and am looking to get wet soon.

I live in Hamilton, MA and am wondering when divers (Using wet suits, not dry suits) start getting wet in this area. I'll be using a Henderson Hyperstreatch 7/5 with hood, boots and gloves and am wonding when I should think about going for a dive.

Any comments would be great...........

Thanks,
Stephen

I usually start diving some time in April (wet). Early April temps tend to still be around 40-45F. Kind of cold for a wetsuit, but certainly bearable for 1 dive if you don't chill easily.
