I have the 50% default feature disabled, but the fact still remains if you program gas1 with an FO2 value and dive is made, you can not program an FO2 value for gas1, 2 or 3 that is less than the value of the previous dive... Also this effects the planning mode in the same manner since the planning mode uses the value that has been set for gas1.

OK, got my VT3 today and was able to check it out in the pool. I set the FO2 of gas1 for my pool dive to be 36. 10 minutes after the pool dive was complete, I was able to set the FO2 of gas1 to be 21 or 32 without problem.

One thing that might be confusing is that the FO2 number only goes up, not down, but once it hits 50, it resets back to 21.

Like I said in my post, you can do it or at least I have and now you have. I think you might be on to something with the number going up and then rolling around back to 21. I'll bet that's it.
