We are considering Cozumel again, we don't want an AI and are looking at vrbo's. We want a nice downtown location (walking distance to eating places) must have a pool. Suggestions ?

Agree. Depends on what you are looking for. For Eric and I we liked this...

Great downtown location and Magda really does cook a wonderful breakfast. There are only four units so we often had the pool to ourselves. But the down side is no tv in the rooms if that is important to you.

Hmmm.... if there was only a link at the bottom of this post for a great spot in walking distance of all the great downtown stuff. Maybe with a great pool.....

This is a new place that is also wonderful. The owners are long time residents of Cozumel (actually born and raised here) and are lovely people!

WildBill... While not a VRBO you should check out the Casa Mexicana. If there are only 2 in your party I think you'll find the Casa to be cheaper than most VBRO's while you enjoy full service daily and an unbelievable breakfast buffet included. We have stayed there stay there for 2+ weeks at a time for the past 14 years or something and it is not uncommon to meet other guests who stay there for a month or two (in one room of course). If you require 2 rooms or more, a VBOR will certainly be your better bet.
