We stayed at Buddys our first time, and we are going back again. The truck is all arranged, so when you check in, you take care of everything all at once. One of the best things about the resorts is that (on some) you have a house reef, so if you don't feel like driving, you just walk down to the water and the reef is right there.

Lots of the rental places have a "house reef" as well. Anything within walking distance to the water.

We rented a house down south, it was great every morning eating breakfast while watching the suckers who paid for a boat trip tie off to the marker right in front of our rental. :)
