Vortex Springs (and maybe Morrison Springs) on Sunday, November 9th, 2008?

I'm very tentatively planning on going to Vortex Springs on Sunday, November 9th, but I don't have a buddy. My boyfriend is coming along to share the driving 'cause I've decided that driving a total of 8 hours by myself is just too much for one day, but he doesn't dive. Anyone interested?

We could probably fit another person in his car (along with said person's gear, possibly minus cylinders, though), if carpooling is an option.

Leaving from T-town around 5am-ish, to be there at 9am for opening. Planning on a couple of dives at Vortex and maybe a dive at Morrison's.

hey i can buddy up with you for sunday. im in mobile and i can just truck all my stuff over there to meet you. 9 am sounds good. and we can dive as many times as you want to make the trip worth it.

Parysa, you're more than welcomed to ride along with my boyfriend and I. We're leaving the "scuba gear on wheels" at home (AKA the Miata), and taking his Nissan Versa instead. There's enough room for an additional set of gear (if you leave your cylinders at home and are OK with renting them instead).

I'm glad that no one has committed to diving with me yet, because I managed to catch a nasty little cold. Hopefully, it will have cleared up in time for the weekend....
