I have and eye appointment next week to get new contacts plus I'm planning on getting a mask with prescription lenses as a backup in case I lose a contact on a dive trip.

It'll be interesting to see if that fixes the problem. I've noticed that the murkier the water, the worse the vertigo is. So the vision system is linked in there somehow.
