Went to the Inlet this morning during a very low tide (clusters of squid eggs were drying out on the beach). Visibility was only 5-10 feet near the surface, but cleared up steadily deeper. At 60 feet deep, vis was around 30 feet and at 120 feet, vis was 40-50 feet. Not too bad. Lots of moon/water jellyfish and the red jellyfish are starting to show up. I tried dragging my camera down on a tripod to get some long exposure shots to try and show the valleys, cliffs, etc, but it was still too dark (even though I could see fine). I set off the timer on the camera and tried to swim in the picture to have a diver with light in it, but I'm hopelessly blurred. It's harder than it seems to try and stay perfectly still underwater for even 1 second.
