I think you assume correctly. I was diving the north shore 2 weeks ago and had less than 10' vis.

You might want to consider the recent ban on swimming due to e. coli.

Nice. Gloucester, where its unsafe to drink the water on the land and unsafe to swim in the water off shore.

Heard yesterday was absolutely brutal less than 1ft'

However, I dove back beach today in afternoon vis ranged from 5-12' so its getting better and better the more days of west winds we have.

for what it's worth, dove Nubble Friday end of day and night dive and vis was actually OK. 15 feet?The water was unusually warm 60 degrees (at depth of 55 fsw)! Not normal for there.
