Hi Scott,

I just picked up a couple of the Viton first stage service kits and noticed that they have a transparent high pressure seat, as opposed to the opaque coloured ones in the standard kit. I was curious what the difference between the two HP seats is?

Thanks,
Jim

Anyone home in the Zeagle world? :D

From resident reg guru, Jim Fox:

The transparent seat (p/n 341-0108-JA) in the Viton service kit is made from a special polymer material particularly suited to higher concentrations of oxygen, pressure and temperature than those experienced during average sport diving use.

:)

Thanks Scott! I basically just wanted to know if those kits are more than just viton rings. Sounds like these will be perfect in my Deco regs!

Cheers,
Jim
