Just wondering if anyone here in Florida is offering a Visual Inspection Training course. I would like to take the course and a course in O2 Cleaning. I have read Vance Harlow's book on O2 cleaning and it really isn't that difficult but I would like to make it legit. If anyone out there knows where I can go to get trained at a reasonable price I would appreciate it.

Thanks

Here's the calendar for EASE in Vero Beach. Looks like their next class is early April.

Tom Winters:
Rudy Mola over at Diving Technologies International in Sunrise has a one day course.

Bill High of PSI does them at DEMA - there's your excuse to go to Vegas this year.

Are these guys PSI or are they independent? I know I should probably call and ask but its gonna have to wait till tomorrow. Thanks for the quick response Tom.

Rudy's umbrella organization was the IAST - International Association of Scuba Technicians - tank inspection is a subset of the overall technician repair program. It might be worth a drive up from Miami for you to check out his facility though - he's just off the Sawgrass not all that far from the ODC.

I've called the EASE facility and Vero and they seem able to fit my needs a bit more than Diving Technologies. I talked to Rudy at diving technologies and he is an extremely knowledgeable and a very nice guy. If I wasn't looking for the O2 cleaning cert I would definitely do my VIP through them. The EASE facility in Vero offers the O2 cleaning course along with the VIP for the same price, and considering that I am only going to be O2 cleaning my tanks then liability isn't that huge of an issue for me. Once again thank you to everyone who replied.
