O.K. Someone fill me in. What is "Pageant of the Masters"? And, how much could it affect parking in the areas mentioned?

The Pageant of the Masters is a live re-creation of historical artworks done with real people made up to look like paintings. It takes place from July 5th to September 1st and increases the population of Laguna Beach by somewhere around 200%. People come from all over the place to see the exhibits and sightsee Laguna.

Generally it is just a pain in the tail to get in or around Laguna during this event, and being summertime and a beach and what-not.

Nice description Robert, I have been one of those "tourists" at the Pageant of The Masters (even though I go to newport beach about every other weekend). It's a pretty amazing show, I encourage everyone to see it at least once if they can. The last time I went they recreated the Endless Summer artwork and a photo of Kelly Slater, crazy stuff.

Ok, I sent Terry aka 'Duckbill' a PM. Surf is picking up, yellow flag currently. Woods and Montage are most definitely out right now. Might have to look at Shaw's.

However. the beaches may be closed before we even venture forth. Will have to keep eyes, ears, and telephones close.

BTW, Woods Cove is no where near Pageant of the Masters, so parking would not be affected. What would...beach goers in general.
