The other day we went for HangGliding lessons at Rockey Ridge......maybe next time.
Rockey Ridge or Jockeys Ridge? Jockeys Ridge is the largest sand dune on the east coast (right across the street from Kitty Hawks Kites). How did you like the Hang Gliding? Pretty fun huh...I still like diving better.
Sorry you didn't get to do any dives. Maybe next time.

I was a "hard core" kiteboarder for quite sometime...kinda in the "grass roots" era, although it's still somewhat there...while competing in Maui, a friend of mine was killed, so that kinda spoiled it for me as I saw it happen....but I still tinker around with it...what a great time!!!

Actually, I did not get to do any diving. The local dive store in Nags Head wasn't even open. I was told the the water was too cold and that the viz was poor. The wind was great though, and I KiteBoarded 4 out of the 6 days. The other day we went for HangGliding lessons at Rockey Ridge......maybe next time.

I wanna try hang gliding SO bad! How was it? Do you have to have a lot of upper body strength to do it?
