Why didn't you? Have you stayed on Cabilao -if so which resort- or just been on daytrip? I thought the coral reef on Cabilao was amazing .I am watching again the pictures you made in Cabilao and I think it's surprising, honestly I didn't think it is no nice
I only know Cabilao is one of the spots to see, I've never been there. But I thought it was much less interesting than other places (at least this was my understanding). On the contrary it is more or less like Balicasag, Moalboal and Alona one of the places where to goWhy didn't you? Have you stayed on Cabilao -if so which resort- or just been on daytrip? There might not be as much fish action as Balicasag (btw a whale shark has been around the jackfish school for a week a few days after I left, a pity I missed it) but defintely Cabilao has great reefscapes. I remember you asked about Anda which i did not recommend at all, I think Cabilao is worth a few days diving when you consider staying around Bohol, also it's very easy getting back to Cebu from there.I only know Cabilao is one of the spots to see, I've never been there. I dived the Maldives a while ago (Some 15 years ago) for me it's only shark and rays, few corals, and lots of blue tooth triggerfish though not impressed with neither the variety nor the biomass of fish. From your pictures, I would say that compared to the Maldives these places have less fish and maybe less variety of big fish, but more macro and especially healthier and more colorful reef. The Maldives were heavily affected by the last passage of El Nino some years ago
